International Symposium on Ultrafast Phenomena and THz Waves (ISUPTW), an international symposium, provides a platform for strengthening the collaboration and exchange among worldwide researchers in academia and industry and promoting the development in Ultrafast and Terahertz science and technology. The biennial symposium, initiated in 2002, has been held in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Tianjin, Xi'an, Wuhan, Chongqing, Changsha. It brings together scholars, researchers, engineers and students from more than 10 countries and typically hosts about 150-400 participants.

ISUPTW 2021 will be hosted by China Academy of Engineering Physics in Chengdu at Jun. 16-19, 2021. Two symposia, THz Science and Technology and Ultrafast phenomena, are being arranged in the symposium with the scope ranging from basic research to application, including the fields of terahertz and ultrafast phenomena. 

Chengdu is like a city in a park under the snowy mountains, it's the only big city in the world with millions of people where you can see snow-capped mountains, it's a city that once you visit, you don't want to leave.
